Celebrating 46 Years as a Special District, Servicing the Community of Immokalee
The Immokalee Water and Sewer District is governed by a local Board of Commissioners, which consists of seven members.
- Board members make decisions about District policies, including water rates, employee benefits, etc.
- The Governor of the State of Florida appoints these Board members.
- Immokalee residents who are interested in serving on the Board are invited to obtain a questionnaire, and submit it to the Governor's office.
- Qualified candidates must be registered voters, residents of the District, and citizens of the United States.
The Board meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 3:30 p.m. (unless otherwise indicated in the calendar), in the Board Room at the Administration Office located at 1020 Sanitation Road, Immokalee, Florida 34142.
